Agnel Institute of Food Crafts and Culinary Sciences receives Guinness World Record certificate

Guinness World Record has issued a certificate of participation to Agnel Institute of Food Crafts and Culinary Sciences, Verna for their participation in the world record event of the largest fish patty/fritter of 295.6 kilograms (651.68 lbs) under the guidance of Joseph Dias from Trinity Group and Culinary Forum of Goa (All India).

The world record effort was assisted by as many as 40 culinary professionals led by executive chefs of Goa, namely, Prasad Paul of Synergy Hospitality, Saurabh Puri of the Caravela Beach Resort, Ranjeet Pandey of Holiday Inn, Sunit Sharma of Cidade De Goa, Manjit Singh of Holiday Inn, K S Mahesh and chef Leon Pereira of Radisson Blu and others.

The award was presented by Union AYUSH minister, Shripad Naik to principal, Alphonso Pereira and participating students’ group leader Andrison Alfonso.
