“Parrikar always focused on improving quality of life of the people by bringing in infrastructural projects. He also said that Parrikar was instrumental in launching a number of welfare schemes for all sections of the society.

He added that India will become number one with the implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST) and urged the people not to fall prey to opposition propaganda.
Godinho has been appointed as South Goa campaign chief for Lok Sabha election. Speaking in this regard, he said, he will work towards ensuring victory of South Goa BJP candidate Narendra Sawaikar with a good margin.
“BJP has taken note of my works and due to which I have got the Lok Sabha election task. I may also join campaigning in North Goa district for our candidate Shripad Naik,” he said.
Meanwhile, urn containing ashes of Parrikar was taken to Dabolim BJP office from Panaji on Monday evening wherein large number of people offered floral tributes.
