Such was the dominance of Dempo’s in the second session that a goal in their favour looked imminent. They had at least five clear chances to level the score in the second session but it was poor finishing that let the team down.
On one occasion, Dempo defender Nikhil Gurung’s smart try hit the cross bar and came back into play. Substitute Sachin Gawas too had a clear chance who failed to find the mark off a neat pass from Darrel Macarenhas.
