The BBA department of SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics hosted the fifth edition of Rannbhoomi, a national level management event, at ESG on March 3 and March 4, 2015.
The theme for this year’s event was ‘Emerging India’. The event witnessed participation from various colleges from within the state as well as outstation colleges such as KLE College – Belgaum, Christ College – Bengaluru, Gogte College – Ratnagari besides Rosary College- Navelim, Dyanprassark Mandals College –Assagao, SVS Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies- Mapusa and St Xaviers College –Mapusa.
The event consisted of some very innovative and competitive rounds covering areas from The Alchemist (Best Manager), Brand Equity (Marketing), HR Express (Human Resource), Dalal Street (Finance), Make in India (Entrepreneurship), Blue Book (Quiz) and Consortium (Team Work).
On March 3, 2015, the event was inaugurated at the hands of managing partner of Jutex Private Limited and Vice Chairman of CII, Goa Chapter Parag Joshi.
The event concluded with the valedictory ceremony wherein the chief guest, Panaji MLA was Sidharth Kuncalienker gaced the function. The other dignitaries included trustee Dempo Charities Trust, Pallavi Dempo, administrator, Dempo Charities Trust, Sunil Prabhudessai, principal, Radhika S Nayak and vice-principal Harip Khanapuri.
The chief guest congratulated the organisers of SS Dempo College on a well organised event.
The overall champions were Chirst College, Bengaluru and the runners up were SVS Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies. The winners were felicitated at the hands of the chief guest. The function concluded with a vote of thanks.
