Fish ban + Formalin = Hike in Meat prices

There is a ban on fishing in Goa right now. And the fear of having formalin in the imported fish. As a result, two things have happened. Fish markets have gone dry. And prices of meat, eggs, and vegetables have started rising day by day.

Goa365 team visited the fish market of Panaji. Very few fisherwomen seen selling fish. And people are seen lining up in front of meat stalls as well as buying eggs and vegetables. But neither the fisherfolk nor the meat vendors are ready to speak. Within 3 days, the price of chicken has gone up to 140 per kg.
