Huawei’s Honor brand will launch Honor 8C on November 29, exclusively on Amazon India. The device comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ display featuring 1520 pixels x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. This dual-SIM capable phone come with 4GB RAM and has 32GB and 64GB storage options which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android v8.1 Oreo edition with EMUI v8.2.
On the optics side it has a 13-megapixel rear camera sporting LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. The secondary camera is capable of recognising over 500 scenarios in 22 categories. This device also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and AI beautify features.
Its network features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. The phone comes with a 4000mAh (typical) battery. The phone’s colour options in India are expected to be aurora blue and midnight black. The price of the phone is still unknown.
OPPO will launch R17 Pro in India on December 4. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and comes with 128 GB internal memory. This dual-SIM featured phone runs on ColorOS v5.2 based on Android v8.1 Oreo edition.
On the optics side it has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 20-megapixel rear camera. The company suggests that this phone has Time of Flight (TOD) 3D sensing camera that can get high-precision 3D depth information which is calculated through nanosecond infrared light measurement. The users can also take 3D photos. On the front-facing side the phone has a 25-megapixel camera. The R17 Pro also comes with In-display fingerprint sensor. With a 3700mAh battery sporting SuperVOOC fast charging, this device has network features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5, USB 3.1 Type-C, NFC and GPS + GLONASS. OPPO R17 Pro comes in radiant mist and emerald green colour options. The price will be known during the launch.
Huawei will launch Mate 20 in India on November 27. The phone comes with 6.39-inch QHD+ OLED HDR Display featuring a screen resolution of 3120 pixels x 1440 pixels. The device is powered by Kirin 980 processor with 720 MHz ARM-G76MP10 GPU and runs on Android v9.0 Pie with EMUI v9.0. It has 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage while another version is of 6GB RAM with 128B storage. The scope of expansion is up to 256GB using an external card.
This device comes with a 40-megapixel camera and 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 8-megapixel telephone lens. This camera has Huawei’s AI image stabilisation technology besides other key features like laser focus, phase focus and contrast focus capabilities.
On the front-facing side it has a 24-megapixel camera. This hybrid dual-SIM phone comes with IP6 certification and has an in-display fingerprint sensor and 3D face unlock feature.
