Retail fashion brand Max Fashion has spread its presence in Goa market with the opening of a third store in Margao. The new standalone store is spread over a total area of 14,000 sq ft. It is in two levels with separate floors for ladies, men and kids wear.
Speaking on spreading the brand’s reach across the state through the launch of new stores, Raghu Rajgopalan, chief operating officer, Max Fashion said, “We are very excited to launch our third outlet in Goa in such a short span. The move is in line with our overall target of unveiling 300 new stores by the end of financial year 2019. We are thankful to the people of Goa for accepting Max as their leading fashion destination for the entire family”. He further added, “We have plans of opening three more stores in Panaji, Mapusa and Ponda in the future”. The fashion brand currently has a presence of around 280 stores in India and plans to achieve a target of 500 stores by 2022. Globally Max has over 400 stores across 19 countries.
Max’s previous two outlets in the state are in Porvorim and Vasco. Highlighting the presence of the brand, Rajgopalan said that the brand is popular among the youth and for sportswear. “We are widely accepted by the urban population for our affordable pricing,” he said.
The store was inaugurated by Bollywood actress Yami Gautam in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardesai.
