MES College holds DRISHYA 2016

Department of Business Administration, MES College of Arts and Commerce held a two-day workshop for higher secondary school students. Topics for the workshop were grooming and social etiquettes, health and nutrition, voice and speech and management through games. Sixty-five students from 10 higher secondary schools participated in the workshop.

Principal, R B Patil welcomed the gathering and ex students, Sunita Salunke, Siddhi Salgaocar and Shivdas Nair shared their experiences with students. Director, planning and development MES College, Lalita Joshi spoke about the course while Purva Hegde Desai shed light on the uniqueness of the BBA course of Goa University. Higher secondary schools that participated in the workshop were GVM’s Higher Secondary School, Ponda; Fr Agnel Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Verna; Government Higher Secondary School, Baina; Keshav Smruti Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Dabolim; Shantadurga Higher Secondary School, Sancoale; Fr Agnel Higher Secondary School, Pilar; Deepvihar Higher Secondary School, Sada; Kendriya Vidyalaya 1, Varunapuri; St Andrew’s Higher Secondary School, Vasco and MES Higher Secondary School, Zuarinagar.

Resource persons for the workshops were trainer and image consultant, Shweta Pinto; Harpreet Parischa from the Diet Clinic; trainer, speech and drama, Roxana Singh and consultant and corporate trainer, Atul Shah.
