Tanisha enters Nat’l Badminton final




Goa’s Tanisha Crasto is headed for double glory at the All India Sub Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament which is underway at Nagpur, Maharashtra. In Girls U-17 doubles, Tanisha along with her partner Aditi Bhattt (Uttarakhand) have entered the finals. In the semis, they knocked out Tamil Nadu’s top seeded pair of Gnanadha Karthikeyan/Varshini VS 21-12, 21-17.

In U-17 mixed doubles event, Tanisha along with her partner Ishan Bhatnagar (Chhattisgarh) have moved into the semi finals of the tournament. In the pre-quarter finals, they beat Gireesh Nayudu B (AP)/Aditi Verma (MP) 21-16, 21-3 followed up by a another impressive 21-13, 21-12  win over Siddhartha Mishra and Shruti Mishra (Uttar Pradesh) in the Quarters.

Tanisha, Goa’s rising star, has made a very bright start this season, winning a bronze in U-19 Girls doubles (with Aditi Bhatt).
