Administrator of the college, Fr Zeferino D’Souza urged students to be truthful in their journalistic writings. Principal, Blanche Mascarenhas shared her views on Mediascope as she welcomed chief guest Devika Sequeira and the other schools and encouraged
students to go a mile further in the field of media.

An independent journalist, Devika Sequeira took the audience on a nostalgic trip as she discussed how mobile and internet were not accessible when it came to being a journalist back in her days. She said: “I expect the young journalist to be truthful and bold and don’t fear asking questions to people in power; read good books as they will help you to write better.”

At the valedictory function, the mass communication and journalism students entertained the audience with their melodious voices and an array of mash-up dances.
