Panaji: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has asked the parents of the students, who had appeared for the summer 2020 SSC examination, not to visit the Goa Board office for any type of discrepancies, pertaining to assessment of the answer-books.

“However, they may route their request through head of the respective institutions via e-mail,” a circular released by the Goa Board secretary, Bhagirath Shetye stated.

The circular also informed that statements of grades/ marks of the Summer 2020 SSC examination shall be made available after August 6, adding that the passing certificates of this exam shall be made available at a later date.

The Goa Board has introduced this year online verification and revaluation of the answer papers pertaining to the SSC examination, as a precautionary measure against the Corona pandemic. The students, who desire to verify photocopy of their answer paper/ papers will have to do so by July 31, while those who want to carry out the revaluation of their answer paper/ papers will have to do the same by August 8.

Furthermore, the verification of marks in absentia can be done till August 8.

The portal will be opened for the same from July 7. The schools are required to pay the fees for the same through payment gateway provided on the Goa Board website.

The Goa Board has further informed that results kept under the reserved category are due to various reasons such as non-availability of practical examination marks, non-submission of grades, malpractice cases and not attending discrepancies in sports marks/ internal assessment marks.
