Fr Agnel College reaches out during COVID-19

Teaching and non-teaching staff, students, alumni, NSS volunteers and NCC cadets of Fr Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar undertook numerous initiatives during the COVID-19 lockdown in order to assist the needy. In one initiative the alumni and non-teaching staff in collaboration with the Counselling Cell prepared and distributed 100 face masks to an NGO. Face masks were also distributed to the poor from the locality.

NCC and NSS students of the College also distributed face masks, sanitisers, water and refreshment to the police personnel as well as to the needy. Students recorded and uploaded various videos on Facebook and Instagram on how to follow preventive measures. Students also helped publicise and expand the use of Arogya Setu App, besides making numerous posters highlighting various facets of COVID-19.
