Chief Minister Pramod Sawant left for New Delhi on Tuesday to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his visit to the national capital, Sawant will discuss with the Prime Minister the resumption of mining in Goa, Mhadei water diversion and other issues pertaining to the state.
Sawant had been unable to visit New Delhi due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the Chief Minister has left for the national capital, important meetings including the first meet of
steering committee on PPP (public-private partnership) projects and the third meeting of Mopa Airport Development Authority, scheduled to be held on September 30, have been postponed.
