GIDC chairman in a spot over transfer of Verna plot

PANAJI: The illegal transfer of a plot at the Verna Industrial Estate to US-based Watson Pharma has left the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) chairman, Mr Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar open to charges of fraud and knowingly depriving the GIDC of nearly `87.5 lakh in revenue.
