FATORDA: Playing as midfielder, Jolinda Ferrao is the key player of Rosary High School. She not only orchestrates move for the team but has been scoring goals and is the highest goal scorer of her team with five goals to her name.
Jolinda scored two goals against St Xavier’s High School, Velim in the earlier match and in Wednesday’s encounter against Infant Jesus High School, Colva she was the star, bulging the nets on three counts to register a hat-trick and help her team win with ease.
Jolinda is a key play-maker with her attacking moves and ability to score when she sees the first opportunity.
“Jolinda is my key player” said her Physical Education (PE) teacher Kevin Fernandes.
Just like her coach, Jolinda want to be a PE teacher too. “I want to teach children PT when I become big,” Jolinda told The Navhind Times.
“I am in Std X now and I want to complete my graduation with good marks,” said Jolinda. She is very fast on the ball and possesses excellent dribbling abilities. She has dazzled in this tournament by sending slicing passes and scoring goals as well. Her defense splitting passes has paved the way for her colleagues upfront to score easily.
