The state’s well-developed tourism and hospitality industry is drawing players from across the country. Aahar Ways Expo, a three day food, catering and hospitality event is all set to begin from August 28- 30 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium. The expo is supported by various Goan and non-Goan hospitality industry associations and gives an opportunity to exhibitors to display their products and services to trade professionals.
Expecting good number of visitors for the event, Sachin Bhutani, organizer and founder, Aahar Ways Expo, said, “Goa is a perfect destination for work and vacation. Besides, the state is among the fastest growing hospitality and food hubs of India with a rapidly growing domestic food markets and among the richest states of India.”
Apart from stalls, the expo will have seminars on topics such as challenges in the hospitality industry, role of technologies in uplifting guest experience and sustainable food. For hotels there are interesting competitions on uniform designing, towel art and also a session on art of sushi.
