Walkover stores gets smart, new look

Newly done up Walkover stores, Panjim, opened to customers last week. Post renovation the popular baby care and toy store is got bigger and better. It is now spread over three floors covering 5,000 sq. ft. of space. Speaking at the launch, Vrida Tavora, owner, Walkover, said that, the revamped store offers better display of products to young buyers. She added that, online competition from e-commerce companies has not affected the toy market. “The touch-and-feel experience is very important in buying toys and the store has not faced any significant threat from online players,” said Tavora.

Established in 2002, Walkover has toys for every age group and to suit every pocket. Besides toys, the store also retails products for new-born babies such as, prams, cots, bathing tubs, etc. Mauvin Godinho, minister for panchayat, launched the store in the presence of Tavora family members.
