They defeat Guardian Angel Sports Club 7-6 via tie-breaker in final

Beanulim: Sporting Club Davorlim clinched the Benaulim Panchayat Cup after a penalty shootout win over Guardian Angel SC in the final at the St John the Baptist Panchayat ground, Dando, Benaulim on Sunday.

Davorlim started brightly and took the lead in the 22nd minute when Alent Colaco finished off a sweeping move with precision. The team continued to dominate the first half with passing and pressure.

However, Guardian Angel SC fought back admirably in the second half. The hard work and pressure applied by Guardian Angel SC paid off as they were rewarded with a penalty which was successfully converted by Cyril Dias to make it 1–1, sending the game into a penalty shootout.

The tiebreaker saw Davorlim display remarkable composure under pressure. Royson, Alent, Aeren, Prince, Ajay, and Milton all found the back of the net, with the team converting all six of their spot-kicks. Guardian Angel managed five successful penalties through Fedrich, Godwin, Mildroy, Cyril, and Milroy, but missed one crucial attempt, which proved decisive.
