Betim SC secured a 21-run victory over Akbar SC in the Division B Tiswadi Zone at Panjim Gymkhana, after posting 163/6 in their allotted 38 overs. Ketan top-scored with a resilient 65* while Deepak added 24 runs and Nishikant contributed 16. Saiesh was the standout bowler for Akbar SC, claiming 2 wickets for 35 runs, while Paresh took 1 for 23.
In response, Akbar SC fell short, being bowled out for 142 in just 29 overs. Vishal fought valiantly with a knock of 38, and Paresh chipped in with 31. However, Betim SC’s bowlers dominated the proceedings, with Rafig taking 4 wickets for 33, Nishikant grabbing 2 for 13, Snehal 2 for 24, and Ravi 1 for 23, as they bowled Akbar SC out.
