The Goa Information technology Development Corporation (GITDC) has initiated steps to appoint a consultant to provide transaction advisory services for the proposed Hybrid IT Park at Porvorim in the Penha de Franca village of the
Bardez taluka.

The request for proposal floated by GITDC states that the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication (DITE&C) is in possession of strategic land parcel located at Porvorim in the Penha de Franca village, admeasuring about 12,455 square metres, and the DITE&C desires to setup a Hybrid Information technology (IT) Park through GITDC under suitable Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Build, Lease, Operate, Transfer (BLOT) model or any other
suitable model.

Info Tech Corporation of Goa (ITG) has recently empanelled various consulting firms in different categories of
consultancy services.

“GITDC intends to have a competitive bid offer for appointing a consultant in the category of Financial Consultant and Transaction Advisor from already empanelled consultant of Info Tech Corporation of Goa (ITG) to provide Transaction Advisory Services for selection of a private entity (the concessionaire) for the development of the land parcel,” adds RFP.

The transaction advisor shall conduct their own site survey, assessment, and feasibility as per its marketability for concept preparation and technical presentation.

“If found technically feasible and financially viable the project may be awarded on suitable model to a private entity (the concessionaire) through a competitive bidding process,” it further adds.

As per the scope of work, the consultant shall provide transaction advisory services, including demand assessment and site analysis, development of a financial model, finalisation of a project structure, explore financial assistance under central or state schemes,
among others.
