Perpetual Succour Convent HS Navelim sealed their place in the final with a 2-0 win over The Kings School, Sao Jose Areal in the 5th All Goa Interschool Sir Jawaharlal Da Costa U-14 Boys Football Tournament at Seraulim panchayat ground on Friday. Both goals came in the first half, with Royden Carvalho and Cyndroy Souza finding the back of the net to secure a comfortable victory for Perpetual Succour.

In the second semi-final, Loyola HS Margao cruised past Saviour of the World Loutolim with a 4-1 win. Jaisman Gomes was the standout performer, scoring a brilliant hat-trick, while Gareth Rebello added another. Ashwin Miranda netted a consolation goal for Saviour of the World, but it wasn’t enough to mount a comeback.

Meanwhile, in the U-12 boys category, Marina English HS Verna eased past The Kings School, Sao Jose de Areal 5-1. Nitesh Yadav was the star of the show with a brace, while Arprit Ming, Nunzio Ferrao, and Ericsson Gama each added a goal. Isaac Mendes scored the lone goal for The Kings School, but it was not enough to stem the tide.

In another match at the same venue, Loyola HS Margao also progressed to the final, defeating Saviour of the World Loutolim 2-0. Nathan Afonso was the hero for Loyola, scoring twice to lead his side to victory.
