Sao Jose de Areal eased past hosts United Boys of Dando Colva 2-0 in the 34th Super Soccer Football Tournament at the Benaulim panchayat ground.
Colva started brightly, creating the best first-half chance when Shanon fired wide from close range in the 25th minute. The deadlock held at the break.
Last year’s finalists returned sharper after halftime, with Priston Gomes and John Gomindes taking control in midfield. Priston opened the scoring in the 37th minute before Stalen sealed the win with a 54th-minute strike.
Areal’s Priston was awarded the Man of the Match by Glyda Rodrigues.
