The Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) has invited online applications for 38 posts of Junior Scale Officer of the Goa Civil Service.

The last date for submission of the applications is September 19, 2025.

Out of the 38 posts, 11 are reserved for OBC, 5 for EWS, 6 for ST, while 16 are unreserved. Additionally, one post is reserved for Children of Freedom Fighters (CFF) and three for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

The applicants must hold a degree from a recognised university and have knowledge of Konkani, with Marathi desirable. The age limit is 40 years, with relaxations as per government rules, up to 50 years in some cases.

The applications can be submitted through the Commission’s website gpsc.goa.gov.in or the Goa government portal cbes.goa.gov.in

In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani, the Commission may recommend a candidate, if otherwise found fit, and this requirement can be relaxed by the government on the recommendation of the Commission, if the government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so in case of Group ‘A’ posts in professional colleges and consultants in the directorate of health services.
