Mahalaxmi CC held their nerve to defeat Badem SCC by 5 runs in the GCA B Division Tiswadi Zone at Panjim Gymkhana ground.
Electing to field after winning the toss, Badem Sports made the contest competitive, posting 329 all out in 44 overs. Sapnish Satarkar top-scored with 89, while Sankalp Prabhu (73) and Yashraj Kalaskar (49) added vital runs. Samir Tari led the Mahalaxmi bowling attack with 3 for 47, supported by Sudin Redkar (2/61) and Mohit Gaonkar (1/43).
Mahalaxmi replied with 333 for 9 in 44 overs, with Dhiraj Devidas smashing 109, Sarvesh Sawant contributing 62, and Mohit Gaonkar adding 59. Saiesh Naik took 3 for 48 for Badem, while Sankalp Prabhu (2/42) and Naresh Parsekar (2/53) kept the pressure on.
