Dalgado Konkani Akademi in collaboration with the Konkani Department of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nuvem, Goa organised ‘Buzvonn Boska’ – a condolence meet to honour the memory of 40 prominent personalities who dedicated their lives to promote Romi Konkani.
The programme started with a short prayer service by the students of TYBA Konkani. President of DKA, Fr. Myron Barreto, welcomed the gathering and secretary Agnelo Borim, hosted the programme. Glimpses of the personalities who significantly contributed towards the script in various fields were presented. Assistant professor of Konkani Cialini Fernandes coordinated the programme. The programme witnessed the participation of DKA members, family members of those who were fondly remembered, and students of the department of Konkani.
