Goa were bowled out for 195 in 67.4 overs while chasing 321, handing Odisha a 125-run victory in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy Elite U-23 tournament at the Goa Cricket Association ground in Sanguem on Friday.

Resuming the fourth day at 3/2, Goa slipped to 60/6 as nightwatchman Vinayak Kunte and Jeevankumar fell in the same over. Kunte had faced 101 deliveries in a determined effort to keep the chase alive.

Captain Aryan Narvekar (21) and Anuj Yadav (40) added 64 runs for the seventh wicket, but their successive dismissals left Goa struggling. Deep Kasvankar fought back with 48, including six boundaries, and shared a 61-run stand with Shivenn Borkar (14 not out). However, Odisha’s bowlers wrapped up the innings, with Sarthak Panda claiming four wickets.

Earlier, Odisha posted 199 in their first
innings before Goa took a 54-run lead with 253. Odisha turned the contest around by declaring their second innings at 374/6, setting the hosts a
target of 321.
