FC Goa are thrilled to announce the return of forward Aaren D’Silva, on a short-term deal that will see him wear the Club’s iconic orange till the end of the ongoing 2024-25 season.
“It’s always an honour to play for FC Goa,” Aaren expressed, after putting pen to paper for the Gaurs. “This isn’t just my hometown club – it’s one of the biggest teams in India. I’ve been a fan of the Club since the ISL began, and being able to wear this shirt again means so much to me.
“As a footballer, I want to continue improving as a player, stay true to my work ethic and contribute in any role the coach assigns me. Coach Manolo has always been a driving force in my development, both on and off the pitch. He’s like a father figure to me, pushing me to grow and excel. Playing under him is challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
Reflecting on his recent experience as a fan in the stands, the 27-year-old added, “Watching the fans at the last home match against Mohun Bagan Super Giant gave me goosebumps! I’m excited to give my all for the team and the Club in this new chapter of my career.”
Aaren’s journey with FC Goa started in 2017 when he joined the Club’s Development Team from Sesa FA. With the young Gaurs, he lifted the GPL title in 2019 and the Goa Police Cup in 2020, before getting promoted to the First Team.
