Anand’s Mind Masters emerged champions of the 5th Curti Team Chess Championship, organised by Ajinkya Chess Academy in association with Ponda Taluka Chess Association, after winning all five matches to score 10 points at Shree Krishna Temple Hall in Kelbai, Curti.
The team, captained by Anand Kurtikar, included Nirbhay Gaude, Shubham Gaude and Shradha Gaude. Four Knight Warriors, led by Chetan
Kurtikar, Tansh Gaude, Reyansh Kurtikar and Aarush Naik, finished runners-up with seven match points and 13 game
points, while Legendary Warriors, comprising captain Pratish Gaude, Nishesh Gaude, Chinmay Gaude and Aryan Jojo, secured third place with seven match points and
12 game points.
Board prizes went to Kaushal Naik (The End Game Masters), Vrajesh Natekar (Pivotal Pawns), Shubham Gaude (Anand’s Mind Masters) and Aarush Naik (Four
Knight Warriors).
