Cana Benaulim SA and Ponda Footballers played out a 3-3 draw in the GFA Futsal League at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim,
on Thursday.

Benaulim’s Landan Mendonca opened the scoring while Jason Nunes doubled their lead.

Ponda Footballers responded through Ainsley Araujo’s strike taking the tally to 2-1.

Fueled by the goal, Ainsley struck once again to restore parity and
secure his brace.

Benaulim regrouped and regained the lead as Landan Mendoca fired one in taking the scoreline to 3-2.

In the dying minutes, Ponda’s Santosh Vishwarkarma smashed one and levelled the playing field. At fulltime the score was 3-3.

In another encounter at the same venue, Enfermos SC edged past CDJ Ribandar with a narrow
4-3 victory.

Enoch Pires starred for Enfermos with a brace, while Rowan Fernandes and Sam Moura also got on the scoresheet. Ribandar fought back with goals from Pratik Naik, who netted twice, and Athan Nunes, but it wasn’t enough to
