To celebrate Xmas, the GCCI Women’s Wing organised a Christmas Pop-up Bazaar, in association with Mall de Goa, Porvorim. The event began with a welcome address by the Women’s Wing chairperson, Sandra Fernandes. Member of the WW Simran Dhond, introduced the chief guest, FDA- Goa, director Shweta Dessai, who appreciated the efforts of the women entrepreneurs and encouraged them to work hard and achieve success.
As part of the function the WW chairperson presented a memento to the chief guest Dessai and thanked Lavanya Shet for providing the space free of cost to vendors to sell their Christmas sweets. She thanked all the vendors for participating in the bazaar. Fernandes spoke in the presence of the WW committee members including Pallavi Salgaocar, Nandita Dayal, Clare D’Souza, among others. The event was coordinated by GCCI, assistant director Melane Rodrigues.
