ICSI launches new course for growth of company secretary profession

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) introduced a series of specialized webinars under its capacity building series, aimed at enhancing the practical insights and professional acumen of its members and students.

ICSI, president, Dhananjay Shukla said, “The institute’s commitment to excellence and initiatives to support members and students are expected to have a positive impact on the profession and the industry as a whole. With its continued efforts, ICSI is poised to play a significant role in shaping the future of the company secretary profession in India.”

ICSI has launched new programs, including a 2-year, full-time MBA in maritime regulations and compliance management in collaboration with the Gujarat Maritime University, and a certificate course on corporate and securities markets compliances (CSMC) with National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

 “The programmes are designed to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their fields. Additionally, ICSI has signed MoUs with the Services Exports Promotion Council (SEPC) to provide customized training programs for its members and access to global markets,” pointed out Shukla, who spoke in the presence of ICSI, western region, chairman Hrishikesh Wagh, ICSI, vice president Pawan Chandak, and Goa chapter chairman Darshan Karekar.

 ICSI has taken several initiatives to support its students, including, online doubt clearing classes.
