The result of the 11th Tiatr ‘B’ Group Competition 2025-26 organised by Kala Academy Goa at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panaji are announced. Total six institutions participated in the competition which was judged by Edwin D’Costa, Dr. Fr. Luis Gomes and Marta De Souza. The date of prize distribution function of this competition will be declared later.
‘Ek Istor-Tuji Ani Mhoji’ by Aamar P. Sawanth Fan Club, Margao won the competition by bagging the first prize for Best Performance. ‘O Goynkara, Anik Kitlo Kall Tum Goykar?’ by Machi Mogi, Santa Cruz received the second prize, ‘Khuim Paule Tum Cynthia?’ by Britona Dramatic Academy, Britona was third. The prize for Best Acting Male was won by Tushar Manjrekar and Best Acting Female was won by Sendrisha Fernandes. Best Actor in negative role was won by Savannah Mascarenhas. Award for the Best Director was received by Luis Xavier Mascarenhas for Ek Istor-Tuji Ani Mhoji. Best Music Band award was won by Francisco Xavier Azavedo for ‘Welcome to London’. Dilecta Goes won the award for Best Costumes. The award for the Best Singer ( Male ) Solo was won by Andre De Souza, and Best Singer ( Female) Solo by Renecia Rodrigues.
Best Child Singer was won by Kaelen Mendes and Anaya D’ Souza. Award for the Best script was won for ‘O Goynkara, Anik Kitlo Kall Tum Goykar?’ by Menino Mario Araujo. Conceicao Farnandes received the award for the Best Lyrics for ‘Mottem Pott’.
