NoMoZo 6.0 was recently held in Porvorim, with Minister for Tourism, IT, and Printing & Stationery and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte, along with Bollywood actor John Abraham, in attendance. The event also saw the presence of Minister of Art and Culture Govind Gaude, Deputy Speaker and Mapusa MLA Joshua De Souza, Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar, and former Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo.
The event began with a formal inauguration, followed by John Abraham’s speech on sustainability, fitness, and community spirit. He encouraged attendees to take proactive steps towards environmental preservation and personal well-being.
Khaunte shared how NoMoZo has grown into a vibrant, community-focused event. He also announced the approval of Rs. 100 crore for a town square project in Porvorim, which will include the festival road, with plans for completion next year.
 The crowd was then treated to an energetic performance by the Gravity Band. Hosted by Porvorim Rising, a Rohan Khaunte initiative, NoMoZo 6.0 featured 12 diverse themed zones, such as Heritage, IT & Science, Astronomy, Performance, Youth, Fitness, Boxing, Martial Arts, Kids, Health, Art, and Dance.
