Caetano Fernandes booked his place in the Masters 55+ men’s singles final with a commanding 6-3, 6-3 win over Manoj Pandey in the Baale BPS Open 2025 at BPS Sports Club, Margao.

Fernandes continued his dominant run, also advancing in the quarterfinals of the Masters 45+ men’s singles and Masters 55+ men’s doubles.

The men’s singles quarterfinals saw Rishabh Beria ease past Jai Gill 6-2.

In the men’s doubles, Nishad Shevde and Anurag Agrawal outclassed Pushpak and Parth Kadam with a flawless 6-0 win, while Wes Ryan Cardoso and Sanket Nayak cruised past Jai Gill and Joshua Cardozo 6-1. Dunstan Dias and Deepak Nahak overpowered Saurabh Trivedi and Sujit Kumar Sahoo 6-2, while Prince Agnelo Joven de Silva and Akhil Shirwaikar dispatched Pankaj Nanoskar and Lyndon JP 6-3.

In the quarterfinals, de Silva and Shirwaikar defeated Rahul Pinto and Ehrlick de Ataide 6-1. Shevde and Agrawal took down Allan Fernandes and Ojasvi Singh Mann 6-2, while Cardoso and Nayak edged past Dias and Nahak 6-3 to keep their title hopes alive.

In the girls’ U-14 division, Urvi Pai Panandiker dominated Renee De Menezes 6-0, while Neeraja Damle and Kimberly D’Sa posted 6-1 wins over Anindita and Ira Borker, respectively.
