Cansaulim
CAC Cansaulim sailed past PYA Consua 7-1 in the GFA U-17 Division II League at the Cansaulim ground
on Monday.
The hosts were in complete control from the outset, with Deepak Sahu opening the scoring in the 25th minute.
Jeremy Barreto doubled their lead in the 33rd minute while Sagar Naik smashed one in the 39th minute adding to the tally before the break, giving Cansaulim a comfortable 3-0 lead
at half-time.
The second half saw no let-up in intensity.
Jonathan Ferrao made it 4-0 in the 50th minute, before Suraj Nayak netted a quickfire brace in the 52nd and 54th minutes. Aayush Kumar joined the party with a goal in the 57th minute, stretching the lead to 7-0.
PYA Consua pulled one back through Gagan Palyekar in the 69th minute, but it proved to be little more than a consolation in an otherwise one-sided
affair.
Consua’s Prajyot Gaocar was shown a yellow card late in the game.
