Mapusa: A dramatic late brace by Stephen Martins saw Chapora Yuvak Sangh snatch a stunning 2-1 victory over Dempo Juniors in the GFA First Division League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.

Dempo Juniors looked set for all three points after Soham Nagvekar opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and they managed to hold the lead well into stoppage time. But Chapora’s persistence paid off spectacularly in the dying moments.

Stephen Martins turned the game on its head, scoring in the 90+2’ and 90+3’ minutes to complete a sensational comeback, sending the Chapora bench and supporters into raptures.

Chapora’s Krishnanath Shirodkar saw yellow in the course of the match.
