SP ANC Tikam Singh Verma said that the action is part of the Goa police’s continuous efforts to curb the drug menace in the state. Police team has started conducting surprise and random checks.
“The ANC is not only conducting regular raids and seizing substantial quantities of narcotics but is also conducting random and surprise checks of various establishments especially in the coastal belt including the major transportation hubs like railway stations, interstate bus stations, etc,” said Verma.
