Compassion SC annex GFA U-13 girls title

Compassion SC were crowned champions in the GFA U-13 Girls League after a 5-4 win via tie-breaker in over Union of Chinchinim Villagers at Sinquetim ground, Navelim on Thursday.

Compassion got off to a flying start with Asma Bandodkar breaking the deadlock before Jasmine Baral doubled their advantage. However, Chinchinim refused to back down, with Risa Oliveira
pulling one back in the 12th minute. Fueled by momentum, Risa struck again to complete her brace and restore parity.

With the scores locked at 2-2 at full-time, the match was decided from the spot.

Compassion held their nerve as Asma Bandodkar, Quinnell Lourenco, and Abigail Gracias converted their
penalties, while Chinchinim found the net through Eleora Crasto and Joiada Rocha but fell just short in the shootout.
