Davorlim get the better of GASC

Sporting Club of Davorlim edged Guardian Angel Sports Club 4-3 in the tie-breaker after both sides played out a 1-1 draw in the 4th Betalbatim Villagers Cup at the Betalbatim Panchayat Ground on Monday.

Guardian Angel SC got off to a strong start with Jaison Dias scoring in the 6th minute. However, Davorlim responded in the 25th minute through William Niasso, bringing the match level before halftime.

Despite several attacking efforts from both teams, the second half saw no further goals, leading to a penalty shootout.

In the tie-breaker, Milroy Clemente, Fedrich Fernandes, and Godwin Costa scored for Guardian Angel SC. For Davorlim, William Niasso, Aeren Figueiredo, Ajay Raj, and Milton Colaco successfully converted their penalties, sealing a 4-3 victory.
