Dempo SC will look to build on their first home victory of the season when they take on Rajasthan United FC in their I-League 2024-25 clash at PJN Stadium,
Fatorda, today.

The Golden Eagles finally broke their home drought with a narrow 1-0 win over Delhi FC, thanks to super sub Nestor Dias, who came off the bench in the second half to secure all three points. That result lifted Dempo to eighth in the table with 14 points from 11 matches, just two points behind Rajasthan United, who sit seventh with 16 from the same number of games.Rajasthan United, meanwhile, come into this contest after a 1-1 draw against Inter Kashi. Bidyashagar Singh put Kashi ahead in the 30th minute, but Rajasthan’s Martand Raina restored parity just before halftime, ensuring a share of the spoils.

For Dempo, tonight’s fixture presents a golden opportunity to climb the standings and showcase their growing confidence. Head coach Samir, who has placed immense faith in his Indian contingent, remains optimistic about his squad’s potential.
