Dempo SC suffered a 0-5 defeat against Reliance Foundation Young Champs (RFYC) in the Dream Sports Championship Football 2025 National Finals at SAG ground Benaulim

Shawn Fernandes was simply unstoppable, netting four goals to spearhead RFYC’s charge. The skipper struck twice in quick succession in the 12th and 14th minutes to give his side a strong 2-0 cushion
at the break.

He then returned in the second half to complete a dazzling hat-trick in the 65th minute before adding his fourth just three minutes later. Substitute Harshal Manigandan added the finishing touch in the 71st to complete the rout.

Norwich City FC were at their ruthless best as they cruised to a dominant 5-0 win over Sesa Football Academy on Day 3 of the Dream Sports Championship Football 2025 National Finals, with Benjamin Tree leading the charge
with a brace.

Tree opened the scoring in the 15th minute, setting the tone for Norwich’s attacking display. Ajay Tavares made it 2-0 just ten minutes later with a sharp finish. Tree doubled his tally in the 43rd minute to hand his side a commanding 3-0 lead at
the break.

Sesa tried to rally in the second half but struggled to break down a compact Norwich backline. Norwich, on the other hand, stayed relentless, with Tavares netting his second in the 72nd minute before Triziano Wilson put the icing on the cake in the
85th minute.

Meanwhile, Punjab FC came from behind to beat Football 4 Change Academy (F4CA) 3-1. Houlungou Mate gave F4CA a dream start in the 5th minute, but Punjab hit back through Thongram Singh in the 15th minute. Vishal Yadav then turned the game on its head with a second-half brace, striking in the 55th and 65th minutes to seal all
three points.
