Dessert n More Avengers and RMK XI booked their spots in the semifinals of the 2nd Goa Veteran Cricket League with commanding victories at Margao on Thursday.

DnM Avengers outclassed Gomanchal Warriors by 46 runs, riding on a stellar knock from Vikas Desai. After electing to bat first, DnM posted 152/4 in their 20 overs, with Desai hammering 68 and Naresh Parsekar chipping in with 49. Prasad Patil (2-25) was the pick of the Warriors’ bowlers, while Lokesh Sharma (1-12) and Suraj Sawal (1-24) provided some resistance. Chasing 153, Gomanchal Warriors faltered under scoreboard pressure, bowled out for 106 in 17.5 overs.
