The GDP School for Social Entrepreneurship, Skill Building and Applied Social Research held its first convocation at Borda College, Margao, with a focus on enterprise readiness.
Graduating cohorts comprising senior citizens, self help groups and rural youth from the Borda, Vasco and Quepem campuses took part in a ramp walk, presenting market-ready products and service offerings developed through practitioner-led mentoring and applied
social research.
The convocation marked the completion of Stage 1 of the programme, focused on strengthening product, process and people through market validation. The cohorts will now move into Stage 2, the Go-To-Market phase, which will concentrate on customer acquisition, partnerships, revenue models and scaling.
The showcase was by GDP School practitioners from the three campuses. The convocation was by chief guest, Managing Director of Putzmeister Concrete Machines Private Limited, Kanjanabha Bhattacharyya.
