Goa Staff Selection Commission invites applications for 395 posts

The Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC), on Friday, announced its first major recruitment drive, inviting applications for 395 Group ‘C’ posts across nine government departments.

Key vacancies include 118 assistant teachers in various subjects, 14 English teachers in government primary schools, and two drawing teachers in secondary schools under the Directorate of Education.

The police department is offering 187 police sub-inspector posts, while the Art and Culture Department has 10 librarian
Grade-I posts.

Other openings include 57 technical assistants (civil) in the Rural Development, Water Resources, Public Works, and Panchayat Departments; four technical assistants (mechanical/electrical); one technical assistant (computer/electronics/IT); two programmers in the Directorate of Accounts; and three posts — one technical officer and two junior technical officers — in the office of the Chief
Electoral Officer.

Applications must be submitted online at https://gssc.goa.gov.in, with the deadline set
for May 23.
