Goa Tourism was awarded for its spiritual tourism initiative at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad 2025 held on September 19-20.

The award was presented by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture, Government of Telangana.

During the two-day event, the Goa Tourism delegation engaged extensively with visitors alongside Goan co-exhibitors, showcasing the state’s multifaceted tourism landscape.

Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said that Goa continues to welcome tourists with an unmatched combination of culture, heritage, adventure, and wellness experiences.

“Winning the award for spiritual tourism initiative at TTF Hyderabad is a proud moment, reflecting our efforts to create authentic and meaningful experiences for travellers. Spiritual tourism is a key pillar of Goa’s broader tourism vision
and this recognition motivates us to further develop sustainable, community-focused initiatives that benefit both visitors and local communities. Our aim is to ensure that every traveller leaves with a deeper connection to Goa’s culture, traditions, and natural beauty,”
Khaunte said.

Tourism Director Kedar Naik said that the interactions at TTF Hyderabad 2025 have been highly encouraging.

“Visitors and industry stakeholders showed great interest in Goa’s tourism offerings, and the engagement with Telangana’s dignitaries highlights the importance of collaborative promotion of tourism across states,”
