Three FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams from Goa, including one from Sanjay School, Porvorim, are preparing for the FTC 2025 Championship in Pune from February 28 to March 2. Over 60 teams from across India will compete for a spot at the World Championship in Houston, U.S.A., in April.

Goan teams have participated in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) events since 2021, winning multiple awards. In 2023, Team Goa represented India at the FIRST Global Challenge in Singapore, securing four international awards. This highlights their growing presence in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Sanjay School’s team, supported by TechInfinity, includes six hearing-impaired students and four slow learners (four girls). They receive robotics, coding, and hardware training, making it an inclusive platform for students with special needs.
