Panaji : For many visitors at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) this year, the most cherished takeaway is not a photograph with a celebrity or a festival badge—it’s their own face immortalised on a postage stamp.

“India Post is showcasing one of its most distinctive offerings at IFFI—the personalised My Stamp. The IFFI-themed sheet has already emerged as a major highlight of the festival,” said the Postal Services SSP Goa, Anurag Nikhare.

At the Old GMC Complex (INOX) and Kala Akademi, film lovers are lining up for a customised stamp sheet that pairs their photograph with a specially designed IFFI-themed stamp.

“Already 120 sheets have been sold. Sales increased after actor Anupam Kher visited the stall,” Nikhare said.

Each sheet is printed within minutes and will be available only until November 28, 2025. Visitors can get their photograph clicked at the counter or bring a passport-sized picture, select the IFFI-themed template and receive their

customised sheet. Orders may also be placed online by contacting officials. The stamps can be used for postage as each carries a value of five rupees.

Adding to the charm is a philatelic exhibition at Kala Akademi, where 20 frames of rare collections from across the country trace Indian cinema’s journey through stamps.  The exhibition features 20 frames of collections from Goa, Kolhapur, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai, Haryana and Odisha.
