Panel reconstituted to examine proposals seeking higher FAR

Panaji: The government has reconstituted the committee to scrutinise and examine development proposals seeking additional height and Floor Area Ratio (FAR) under the Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations.

The committee is expected to assess proposals on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as location, nature of development, proposed use and other relevant criteria before placing them before the Town and Country Planning Board.

The committee will also submit its report/ recommendations in respect of such proposals to the Board.

The newly reconstituted committee will be chaired by Vertika Dagur, Chief Town Planner (Administration/ Planning). Other members include Paresh Gaitonde, Rajeev Sukhthankar, Architect Gayle Veronica Araujo and Anand Deshpande.

Vinod Kumar Chandra will serve as the Member Secretary.
