Vehicle owners queued up at a fuel station in Ponda on Wednesday amid panic buying triggered by fears of a fuel shortage. Some gas agencies in the town also continued to witness crowds over concerns of an LPG crunch though home delivery services are being assured. The rush comes in the wake of uncertainty following the Gulf conflict, prompting residents to stock up despite fuel station dealers maintaining that adequate supplies are available. Such queues were witnessed at fuel stations across the state. ¡ Mahesh Gaonkar
