Continuing its drive against immigration violations, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Goa, on Wednesday traced two Kenyan nationals staying in the Calangute-Candolim coastal belt without valid visa documents.

Officials said the operation was part of an ongoing verification and enforcement drive targeting overstaying foreign nationals in North Goa’s tourist areas.

“Necessary legal action has been initiated against the foreign nationals in accordance with applicable provisions of law,” an official statement issued by FRRO Goa said.

FRRO Goa said action will continue across the state, particularly in tourist hubs, as part of efforts to monitor overstaying foreign nationals and enforce immigration regulations.

Officials also asked hotels, guest houses, homestays and landlords to verify travel documents of foreign guests and ensure timely submission of C-Forms and Form-III as required under immigration laws.

“Failure or delay in reporting details of foreign nationals will attract legal consequences,” the statement said.

The special operation was led by PSI Parag Parekh along with police personnel Rupesh Matkar, Gauravi Pirankar and Uttara Bagi.
